Ready to go home

This past few months past by so fast.

I just realized I have 3 full weekends left.

Here the things are almost the same as they were. As time passed by, it just got harder and harder to say no to the things that the world offers.

I think about it a lot that I just left this few months slipping through my fingers, not doing what God asked me to do.

I shared my testimony with a few of the kids, but they really don't seem open to it. At least I planted a few seeds hopefully.

I got a lot of chances in France to give testimony to my friends. There are a few people who don't like me because of my faith, but I guess I don't have to be liked by everyone.

I really miss home now. As winter is coming is getting a bit depressing. The sun comes up around 9 and goes down at 5, but it's getting worst they say.

France and Paris was pretty amazing, probably I should post some stuff about it.

But if I think back, I can just thank God to bring me here, and even through my stupidness He still showed me a lot of things.

My faith was really tested here. It's really easy to be a christian when, you are all surrounded by them. But can I still stand when its only me and God.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
For He Himself knows our frame;
He is mindful that we are but dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
When the wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its place acknowledges it no longer.
But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children's children,
To those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts to do them.

Rødding so far

This past week has been pretty tough.

I really miss home.

The danish kids kinda stopped to talk in english and all they do is speak danish to each other.

The teachers said that they will stop translating everything in a few weeks. It seems impossible to understand it. It doesn't sound like anything else.

After 3 weeks, I can get out maybe a few words, from what they are saying, but I ca

n't even guess the context.

I have 4 danish classes a week, and for every class we have to memorize 25 words. It's a lot, but my roommate said my pronounciation is good. So there is hope:)

This sunday a biked to church. 5,5km each way, not a big deal. They live in the town next to us. They are a married couple in their 50's, the lady is american and the guy is danish. They have been doing ministry in the past 7 years here in Denmark, but the church has only like 5 members. They were really happy to have me. The service went from 2pm until 6pm. They asked me at the end of the Bible

study if I want prayer for healing. I was just going to say, that yes for my gluten allergie, but then one of the guy was keep asking me, if I have pain in my back, because he feels like he needs to pray for that. So they made me sit in a chair and lifted my legs, and then he just started to say "come out in Jesus' name"..I was like thinking what should come out. Then he was like "Yes, I see it, is growing"...???

So eventually he said that my legs were like 1inch uneven and thats why I have pain in my back. But I don't even have pain in my back.. so ya then they prayed for my gluten allergie and then they wanted to feed me with bread, but I decided not to eat it...

It was kinda crazy, but the teaching was Biblical, so I'm praying if I should go n

ext week or not.

Every weekend at the school they have crazy parties- every kid gets so waisted

, is really bad. So I don't really know what to do. Because I'm good friends with most of the girls, so they all come, before the parties, to our room get ready, then they want to drink with me. The past 2 times I just said no, but its really hard.

My roommate is a really sweet girl. We get along really well. Sometimes I feel like

I'm her mom. I have to clean up after her all the time, but its kinda fun. I shared my testimony with her, but she is not really opened to spiritual things. I hope that I can impact her l

Danish people in general are really weird. The boys are really feminim, and the girls are pretty boyish. Most of the girls say that they asked their boyfriends out on dates. They said

most of the times boys don't hit on girls but its the opposite. Is pretty strange. And then they say that most of the time if a mom has a baby, probably the dad will stay home with the baby and the mom goes back to work. It feels like the roles totally changed.

I have 95 days left here. I'm trying to enjoy it, and not to think about how much do I want to leave. Everything is so expensive here that I already spent all of my money on food and travel. Kinda crazy.

We are leaving for France in a few weeks. :)

first days

So, where should I start.

Probably just saying how faithful is God to

me through this whole thing. He's been just asking me I think to pray for this nation.

So my flight was amazing, they let me on the airplane with the biggest carry on anyone have ever seen, but they didn't say anything.

I got to Copenhagen (københavn) and too

k the train for like 10 minutes where, a girl

was waiting for me. She is italian and the boyfriend is danish, so they let me stay one night with them.

When we first met, I was asking her what is she doing today, so she said she is going downtown to the gay festival, and so

if I join her she can show me around the city and that she doesn't want me to sit in her apartment

anyways, so I should just go.

We put my stuff down and jumped our bikes, to hit downtown. The festival was huge. Probably like a few thousand people were walking with the festival through the streets of Copenhagen. It was quite said to see families taking their kids all dressed up to the event.

Basically everyone was drunk around me, but it was only like 3pm, and all the streets were covered of empty bottles. That's when Roberta said "i

Then she said there is this cool place called christiania witch is like a hippie town, where people live in small communities, have their own stores, post of

fice, school and pre-school. I couldn't take pictures because there were signs everywhere that you shouldn't because eventually a few meters from the entrance there were

tables set up sailing hash and marihuana. Was really shocking thing to see this openly.

She said the government knows about it, they just think is eas

ier if its at only one place, then they know where they are doing it instead of being all spread out in the city. So ya that was interesting.

For dinner she took me to this "mexican" restaurant. My enchiladas had nothing to do with mexican tastes, but it was ok:)

I will go back to Copenhagen for a 10 days long school trip in october..

Next day I had to go to the train station to catch the train to Vejen, witch is like 20 minutes drive from the town where I live.

The school is really nice, all they do is feed us with delicious food, and make us drink coffee. My main subject is danish language and culture, but I'm taking graphic design, painting and drawing classes as well.

The first week was full of fun games, ice brakers. It's a littl

e hard because the danish folks talk to each other in danish and sometimes they don't even notice that you are there maybe, not getting what they are talking about.

But now after a week i started to get a few words and kinda understand what they are talking about.

There are a lot more stories to tell, so more is coming.

I bought a beautiful guitar. Im having my first lesson, well not first but maybe in a long time first- on friday..HOLLA!!!!

well..an other month past by. So fast, i cant even believe it.

Thank God I passed all my exams at school. Even those that i didnt show up. We had a public transportation strike, so i couldnt go, but the teachers had to grade us..soo..pretty nice:)

I feel like this past semester (and it's still going), i struggled a lot, with my mom, family, friends, church. I dont really see the light at the end of the tunel so please pray for me.

God spoke to me a lot through the letter of peter.

though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1Peter 1:6-7

Its just good to know that even when is hard Jesus is at my side.

In fact i was thinking to get a tattoo in greek. παντοκράτωρ - witch means he who holds sway over all things- the ruler of all -almighty: God and there is a verse to it:

2Cor6:18"And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty.

Even when i feel like my life is falling apart- i know that God is holding me in his hand- my father in heaven- i dont have an earthly father, but He gives me much more than that!

I've been listening to sermants for MARS HILL CHURCH. they are all great. there is a teaching on spiritual warfare. Is so great. Please if you have time listen to it!!!!

I love Rezkigyo, the coffee shop im helping at. Is a great ministry to non belivers. but even to christians, to serve them just a good coffee it makes me so happy:)

Oh and here is a picture of my godson. my dear friends from houston- Andrea & Bryan asked me to be their little boys- Elliots godmother. such a prevelage. LOVE HIM!

finally

it has been such a long time since i've written something. life is just way too busy.

now finally i have some free time. house and dog sitting- i have some simona time, that i didnt have all this semester.



LET ME THINK WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THAT HAPPENED THIS PAST FEW MONTHS.



well..about my school. is pretty good. im gonna have my finals starting with jan 4th. i have too much to do, i have basicly 2 weeks to do it. i became pretty good friends with the girls in my class. they are really awesome. none of them are christians but the Lord is working.

All semester i've been praying for them to realize how vain is everything on earth. And i think God answered part of my prayer. 4 people quit smoking. I asked them why. they all said because we just dont need it. its vain. :O wooow.

we went to vienna with 3 other girls from my class. and we gave each other presents. one of the girls gave me a card with a bible verse Psalm 23. She hates church and everything. She makes fun of me for beeing a christian all the time. and now she opened her bible to find me a verse. how awesome God is. Praise him for it!!!!!!



the teachers at the school like me a lot. they always say that im making their day. im trying to be a light in the darkness.

I've been doing youth group too. with andy angela slaughter and brandson. Is a lot of fun and its a great blessing for me. The girls are really opened. I expetially enjoyed the girls nights. I think they loved it. once we did homeless ministry with them. it was really cool. we just set down with those guys and just shared some food with them. we didnt even shared the gospel. but i think they really apriciated it, that somebody takes the time to sit down and talk to them.

I helped out YWAM coffee house ministry. its a great place. everyone should come and see it. it this coffee shop that i opened every friday night ( their vision is to open it full time, they are raising support to finish the construction) you pay donation. Its a good place to bring unbeliever friends, and i think its a place where people from all different churches meet and share their views about life. I wouldnt have any other place to meet them. i brought my class mates too and they loved it. Im so glad to be part of that ministry.


I was just thinking about that if you serving the Lord, you put energy and time in it, is blessing YOU the most!

Also ive been going to the worship night of YWAM that was for the DTS student that now are in India. + pLease pray for them+ The Lord just completly changed my heart with worship. He really thaught me how to mean what i sing. We can get so easely in the rutien of singing the songs. but they mean much more then that.
WE ARE ACTUALLY SINGING TO THE LIVING MIGHTY GOD--- WHO IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!!!

Its been such a hard semester. i was in a spiritual warfare for the entire time. but the Lord is with me in every storm. My homegroup leader Dani was such an encouragement all the time- his prayers and just his advice with every situation.

ONE last thing. The Lord called me to Peru for next summer. I already applied for a summer internship at a calvary chapel bible college. The only thing that could stop me is finances. But as my blog is sais. WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. he will give me everything that i need to acomlish his calling.
